“El Ministerio del Interior de Egipto ejecutó este martes a 15 hombres acusados de pertenecer a un grupo terrorista y de llevar a cabo atentados contra las fuerzas de seguridad en la península del Sinaí, según ha informado la agencia de noticias Reuters. Esta es la cifra más elevada de personas ajusticiadas en un solo día desde que el mariscal Abdelfattá Al Sisi accediera a la presidencia del populoso país árabe en verano de 2014.”

Henda Ayari, a French citizen of North African parentage, posted two photographs of herself — one in a full black Islamic veil, the other in a tight jacket and T-shirt, bareheaded — and wrote a bitter denunciation of Salafism and its encouragement of violent jihad among young French Muslims.”

“Amid a recent outpouring by Frenchwomen reporting episodes of sexual harassment and naming their aggressors, two women have accused a renowned Islamic scholar of violent sexual attacks.
The French activist and author Henda Ayari filed a police complaint 10 days ago accusing the Swiss-born Islamic scholar, Tariq Ramadan, of sexually assaulting her in 2012.”
