The North Africa Foreign Correspondents’ Club (NAFCC) is an association of professional journalists. It was set up in 2014 under the Tunisian association’s law with an office based in Tunis.

NAFCC represents the professional interests of regionally based journalists working for international media in North Africa’s countries (Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Libya and Egypt).

NAFCC, also, ensures that its members fulfill their reporting duties freely and independently, defending a free media and protecting journalists.

As part of its activities, the Club, regularly, invites important guests and experts, in Tunisia for meetings to chat and exchange with its members.

Objectives

The North Africa Foreign Correspondents’ Club was launched in Tunisia in early 2014. It represents the interests of journalists based in the region, working for international media.

The Club will act whenever it deems necessary, on behalf of its members to ensure that they can work freely. It regularly invites prominent guests and experts, for special sessions with its members. It also organises training sessions for its members.

The Club is a non-profit association, established under tunisian law and registered to the Official Gazette of the Republic of Tunisia on 6 november 2014.
